Which version of Office 365 do I have?

It is useful to know which version of Office 365 you have purchased. You may have forgotten. In this blog we explain how you can quickly find your current package.
Office account

You can use your Office account to find out which version and subscription of Office 365 you currently have. Go to www.office.com by logging into your account to register. Once logged in, you can click on the icon with your initials in the top right corner to view your account.

You are now on your account screen. Scroll down until you see your subscriptions. Click on "Subscriptions". You will now see a number of active licences in your account. Your incoming licence is displayed here. Your current version of "Office 365

E-mail confirmation

Look for the order confirmation in your email and check the version of Office 365 you have purchased. Unfortunately, this is not an option if the IT administrator is purchasing a subscription for office or school staff.

In an office environment

You can also see which version you are currently using via the Office offline application in the Office application. The operation varies between Windows and Mac.

Windows

One of the Office 365 Windows applications you have licensed, e.g. Word or PowerPoint. When the application opens, click on the file in the top left corner and then look for the "Account" button in the left menu bar.

When you click on this button, a field called "Product details" is displayed. Below this field you can see which version you are using. You can get more information by clicking on "Information about".

Mac

If you want to know which version of Office 365 is available on the Mac, open an Office 365 application, Word or PowerPoint for example. Create a new document when the application opens. Click on the information about (e.g. Application for Word). Now a dialogue box appears where you can see the active licence.
